LOIDL Consulting regularly participates as exhibitor at the biggest congress for nursing and care issues in the German speaking region DACH (Germany – Austria – Switzerland). This year the congress took place at the Austria Center Vienna on October 12 & 13th, the motto was: new care international: mastering challenges together! The focus of the congress was on tackling challenges in the care sector together on international scale and on recruiting international care and nursing staff. Particularly the broad range of discussed topics (such as care management, rehabilitation care, etc.) attracted more than 4.000 visitors, reaching the highest response in the congress´ history. The industry exhibition accommodated 60 companies and care institutions. They covered topics ranging from robot technology, virtual reality to supportive technologies for people with limited mobility, offering a good variety of opportunities for discussions and networking.
At the exhibition stand, LC presented its recent works and developments for the care sector (like CAATS – Care as a trusted service), including its current activities in national and international research projects (such as Linked Care, START, TELL!). LC used this opportunity to present the Buddy robot and the collaboration in the project Buddy-BeWell. The audience at the congress showed great interest in the robot, its current use and functions, but was also very curious about the project goals and planned outputs, innovative robotics services and how the respective target groups can be supported. It was an unique opportunity to present the robot and the project!
